Bernie McAdam, is a visual artist whose practice encompasses oil painting, printmaking and drawing. McAdam is based between Belfast and Dundalk and has been a member of Creative Exchange since 2019 after graduating from The Belfast School of Art with a BA (hons) in Fine Art.

Bernie’s work reflects a scrutiny of contemporary societal systems where we are subjected to the ineluctable sinister and invasive gaze afforded by technological developments. Bernie has widely exhibited in Ireland with exhibitions in Belfast, Dundalk, and Dublin as well as exhibitions in Scotland and Zagreb where she studied at the Academy of Fine Art.

 

Her most recent projects include ‘The Kingdom of Heaven’ at Flax Gallery, Newtownabbey (Northern Ireland) and ‘Haven 2’ at The Black Box, Belfast (2022).
