Creative Exchange Studios are thrilled to invite you to the opening of BLOCK* at Portview Trade Centre [Floor 2. Block B] on the 12th September 2024 from 7-9pm

*BLOCK: A group of two or more threads that form a unit in a weave

BLOCK features current work by all 12 Creative Exchange studio members. Through varying practices, materials and methods of working BLOCK embodies the inherent importance of strength in communities. The show will invite an audience to reflect on the synchronicity of individual threads coming together to form the whole.

Artists featured include: Ray Duncan, Jude Fenton, Paloma King, Bernie McAdam, Caragh O’Donnell, Sinéad O’Neill Nicholl, Stephanie Noble, Ted Pim, Paulvan Reid, Katrina Darcy-Smith, Katherine St.Angelo and Derek Wilson.

BLOCK is part of Late Night Art East, a new initiative by Platform Arts.

The opening will be followed by a drinks reception at Boundary Tap Room.
